Enterprise SEO Transformation, Large-Scale Migration & Scalable Growth Architecture for Romania’s Largest Real Estate Aggregator
About the Client
Imoradar24 is one of Romania’s largest real estate aggregators and a subsidiary of Imobiliare.ro, the leading real estate marketplace in the country.
Operating at enterprise scale, the platform manages:
- 50,000–100,000 indexable category pages
- 200,000+ listings
- Thousands of dynamic search combinations
Because the site aggregates listings from multiple sources, it naturally produces massive content depth. That scale creates opportunity — but also serious crawl, duplication, and architecture challenges.
This wasn’t a “ranking improvement” project.
It was an infrastructure-level SEO transformation.
The Challenge
At this scale, SEO becomes engineering.
Imoradar24 had:
- A complex filter-based architecture
- Large volumes of parameter-driven URLs
- Crawl budget inefficiencies
- Orphaned or underlinked category pages
- Duplicate metadata across dynamic combinations
- A high-risk full platform migration ahead
In 2025, the site moved from a custom CMS to Ringier’s CUBE platform. This required a complete URL restructuring across all page types — categories, listings, static pages, and dynamic filters.
The main objective:
Migrate without losing organic equity — and use the relaunch to expand growth.
Strategic Direction
The approach was structured around five pillars:
- Enterprise-grade technical SEO
- Scalable long-tail category expansion
- Crawl budget engineering
- AI-enhanced contextual content
- Authority building through PR & data-driven campaigns
The goal wasn’t short-term uplift. It was sustainable organic growth architecture.
Technical SEO & Migration
The 2025 migration was the most sensitive phase of the project.
Core Migration Scope
- Full URL restructuring
- 301 and 302 mapping depending on page logic
- Redirect handling for 200k+ listings
- Pre- and post-launch validation
- Core Web Vitals optimization
- Structured data reimplementation
Every page type required its own redirect logic — categories, activated filter pages, listings, and static content.
Despite the scale, the migration resulted in minimal organic traffic loss. Recovery occurred within months, followed by growth acceleration as the new structure allowed better expansion.
Crawl Budget & Indexation Engineering
At this scale, crawl waste kills performance.
Using Ahrefs, Botify, Screaming Frog (cloud + offline), and log file analysis, we continuously audited:
- 301 chains
- 404 leakage
- Duplicate titles and headings
- Internal linking gaps
- Schema inconsistencies
- Unnecessary bot access to CSS/JS assets
Through log analysis, we identified non-essential crawl paths and blocked them in robots.txt, improving crawl prioritization toward money pages.
The result was improved indexation stability and significantly fewer “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” pages.
Scalable On-Page SEO Systems
Long-Tail Category Expansion
One of the biggest opportunities came from transforming filter combinations into SEO-activated flat URLs.
Instead of leaving valuable intent buried inside parameters, we activated structured, indexable category types such as:
- Directly from Owner
- Pet Friendly
- Cheap Rent
- New Developments
- Areas of Interest (malls, parks, landmarks)
- Penthouses, Duplexes, Studios
Each new page type was:
- Integrated into internal linking modules
- Added into XML sitemaps
- Structured to avoid orphaning
- Built around search intent and platform supply
These long-tail categories now contribute a consistent percentage of total organic traffic.
AI-Generated Contextual Content (Palantir Integration)
For category pages with sufficient listing volume, we introduced dynamically generated contextual paragraphs.
These segments included:
- Average price data
- Average square footage
- Market insights
- Filter-specific information
The content refreshed daily to maintain relevance.
This improved:
- Semantic clarity for search engines
- Topical authority
- Indexation rates
- LLM discoverability
- User engagement
It bridged the gap between marketplace data and content-driven SEO.
Internal Linking Architecture Rebuild
We developed a hierarchical internal linking system built like a pyramid:
- Parent categories
- Subcategories
- Micro-categories
- Lateral contextual links
The goal was simple: no orphan pages.
Over 90% of category pages became internally linked via clean HTML. This dramatically reduced ignored pages and strengthened topical clustering across cities, property types, and filters.
Digital PR & Authority Growth
SEO at enterprise level also requires brand authority.
GOV & EDU Campaign
We led a PR campaign targeting Romanian universities and governmental institutions, highlighting real estate insights and student housing data.
The result:
- Tens of high-authority GOV & EDU backlinks
- Significant domain authority improvement
- Strong brand positioning in academic and institutional ecosystems
Data-Driven Studies & Media Outreach
We conducted original real estate studies covering:
- Rental trends
- Pricing shifts
- Room distribution
- Regional comparisons
These were distributed to national and local media outlets, as well as niche real estate blogs.
This generated dozens of natural editorial backlinks and positioned Imoradar24 as a market data authority.
Results can be verified in this blog article (via Ahrefs, which displays the number of page backlinks).
Results & Impact
- Successful enterprise migration with rapid recovery
- Expanded geo-model and category architecture
- Significant long-tail keyword coverage increase
- 90%+ internal linking coverage across categories
- Improved crawl efficiency and indexation stability
- High-authority GOV & EDU backlinks
- Sustained post-migration organic growth
Most importantly, the platform became scalable.
New category types can now be activated without breaking architecture, crawl efficiency, or internal link equity.
Project Recommendation
Mihai Cune – Imoradar24, Jobradar24 / General Manager
I had the chance to work with Raul while he was leading SEO initiatives, and I can confidently say he brings both structure and clarity to what can often feel like a very noisy space. Raul doesn’t just focus on rankings — he looks at the full picture: search intent, technical performance, content quality, and how everything ties back to business impact. He’s analytical without overcomplicating things and always backs his recommendations with solid data. What I appreciated most was his ability to explain SEO trade-offs in a way that made decision-making straightforward for the rest of the team. Beyond the technical skills, Raul is reliable and easy to collaborate with. He communicates clearly, sets realistic expectations, and follows through. If you’re looking for someone who approaches SEO strategically and pragmatically, Raul is someone you’ll want on your team.
